Storage Policy

Affirma Distributors recognizes that customers may require additional time prior to shipment. To accommodate such needs, we have implemented a structured Inventory Holding and Storage Policy designed to ensure both flexibility and operational accountability.

1. Free Holding Period

We will hold your fully prepared inventory at no charge for up to 3 business days after it is ready for shipment. 

2. Extended Holding

We may extend the holding period for an additional 4 business days free of charge, depending on the size, weight, and storage requirements of the inventory. This extension is discretionary and may vary by order.

3. Storage Fees After 7 Days

If inventory remains in our facility beyond 7 days, a storage fee of $2 per unit per week will apply.

Storage fees are calculated weekly and will continue to accrue until:

  • The inventory is shipped, or

  • The total accumulated storage fees equal the original order value.

Once the customer receives an email from the shipment team confirming that the inventory is ready to ship, the 7-day free holding period begins. After this period, storage charges will apply automatically without any further notice.

4. Ownership Termination

Once storage fees have accrued to equal the full original value of the order, ownership of the inventory will be terminated. At that point, Affirma Distributors reserves the right to:

  • Resell,

  • Liquidate,

  • Use for internal purposes, or

  • Dispose of the inventory

in order to free up warehouse space.

5. Communication Requirement

Our primary method of communication is email, and we encourage all customers to maintain regular and timely contact with our team to:

  • Prevent delays

  • Avoid unnecessary storage charges, and

  • Ensure the proper handling of their inventory

Failure to respond to multiple contact attempts may result in forfeiture of inventory as outlined in the policy above.
